Presentation of the Koran in the ancient Turkic language took place in Turkestan

An international conference "Turkestan - the spiritual capital of the Turkic world" was held in Turkestan today.

The organizers of the conference, which took place at the site of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after H.A. Yassavi, were the International Turkic Academy and the Turkic Council.

Within the framework of the event, the presentation of the Koran in the ancient Turkic language, first translated at the initiative of the International Turkic Academy, took place.

On behalf of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs Yerzhan Nukjezhanov took part, who noted that Turkestan, on the initiative of Elbasy and with the full support of the Head of State, has radically changed and has become a modern tourist, cultural, spiritual and administrative and business center.

In addition, E.Nukezhanov emphasized that the University named after H.A. Yassavi is a demanded higher educational institution of the country, where future qualified personnel in the field of religion are trained in the specialty "Religious Studies". He drew attention to the need to apply modern methods of global teaching, as well as the study of rhetorical skills and oratory by future cadres.

In conclusion, the speaker noted that the state is open for joint study of current issues arising in the educational process between university graduates and employers, as well as for creating a constructive dialogue platform for their solution.

At the same time, we note that the book, translated at the initiative of the International Turkic Academy, will help to increase the religious literacy of young people, as well as counter the ideology of destructive religious movements.
