25 years since the adoption of the «Strategy of formation and development of Kazakhstan as a sovereign state»

On December 14, the Palace of peace and accord held a meeting of the Assembly of representatives of religious associations of Kazakhstan on the theme: «25 years since the adoption of the «Strategy for the formation and development of Kazakhstan as a sovereign state».

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Committee on religious Affairs E. A. Ongarbayev, Deputy Chairman A. S. Abeldinova, Director of the International center for cultures and religions A. p. Abuov, Director of the Institute of linguistics named after A. Baitursynov E. Kazhibekov, as well as leaders and representatives of religious associations.

The meeting of the Assembly has been a significant event in strengthening the interaction of religious associations in the Republic for a number of years. It is aimed at deepening inter-religious and inter-confessional dialogue, which contributes to the establishment of mutual understanding and trust in Kazakhstan's society.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Committee E. Ongarbayev congratulated all believers on the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, wished everyone peace, prosperity and every well-being. He noted that «fruitful cooperation of all faiths on the basis of mutual respect and open dialogue is one of the main riches and the subject of special pride of the Republic of Kazakhstan».

All leaders and representatives of religious associations actively participated in the event. The report of the Director of the Institute of linguistics named after A. Baitursynov Kazhybekov Yerden Zada-uly «on the translation of the Kazakh alphabet from Cyrillic to Latin script as a way of evolutionary development of Kazakhstan" aroused special interest.
