Berik Aryn met with the Head of Indonesia's National anti-terrorism Agency

Vice-Minister of religious Affairs and civil society of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Aryn met with the Head of the National Agency for combating terrorism of the Republic of Indonesia Suhardi Alius and the Indonesian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Rahmat Pramono.

During the meeting, were discussed issues of expanding bilateral ties and possible prospects for cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Berik Aryn introduced the Indonesian delegation to the Ministry's activities in the areas of religion, interaction of the state with civil society and youth policy.

In turn, Suhardi Alius spoke about the main activities of the national Agency for combating terrorism of Indonesia and voiced the main proposals for cooperation with Kazakhstan in the field of countering religious extremism.

Following the meeting, the interlocutors confirmed their mutual interest in establishing cooperation between the authorized bodies of the two countries to exchange experience in preventing manifestations of religious extremism.
