The third meeting of the Board of Trustees of the «Uakyp» Foundation was held

On February 16, a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the corporate charity fund «Kazakhstan Fund «Uakyp» was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of religious Affairs and civil society Nurlan Yermekbayev.

The meeting was attended by members of the Board of Trustees, representatives of state bodies and public organizations.

Nurlan Yermekbayev introduced the new members of the Board of Trustees of the Fund «Uakyp» - the Supreme mufti, Chairman of the Religious Administration of Kazakhstan's Muslims Serikbay kazhy Oraz and Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National chamber of entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan « Atameken» Eldar Zhumagaziev.

At the meeting of the Board of Trustees, a number of important issues were considered, in particular, a report on the Fund's activities for 2017 was heard, and the Fund's work plan and budget for 2018 were approved. They also discussed issues such as the creation of a subsidiary management company of the Fund, the creation of a subsidiary NGO, and amendments and additions to the Charter of the Fund.

It should be noted that recently a large number of entrepreneurs, individuals, organizations, in an effort to commit a righteous (God-pleasing) cause – «Sauapty Is»  make charitable contributions in various forms to the «Uakyp» Fund. The Foundation’s «business card» is openness and transparency. All funds are spent on social projects and are aimed at preserving traditional spiritual and religious values, preventing religious extremism, and improving the skills of imams.
