Religious Affairs Committee congratulated veterans on the Gratitude Day.

As part of the celebration of the Gratitude Day, announced by decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 173 of January 14, 2016, the Religious Affairs Committee of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a charity event.

The Religious Affairs Committee congratulated war veterans Abramov Lev, Abenov Alim and Abilov Baymukhan, who made an invaluable contribution to history and showed their heroism and courage to ensure victory, protect the freedom and independence of our Motherland.

Gratitude day is, first of all, a manifestation of respect for our common history, it is a bright holiday of charity, friendship and love of all Kazakhstanis to each other, a holiday that brings the citizens of our country closer together.

As part of the 20-year creation of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, the Head of state declared March 1 a day of gratitude. This holiday is celebrated as a Day of gratitude of all ethnic groups to each other and to the Kazakhs who showed mercy and accepted representatives of different ethnic groups as relatives during the mass deportation to Kazakhstan in the 30-40s of the XX century.

In turn, the veterans thanked for the attention and noted that thanks to the policy of peace and harmony in Kazakhstan, a unique model of national and interfaith harmony has been created, which successfully promotes the principle of dialogue and consolidation.

The Religious Affairs Committee congratulates all Kazakhstanis on the holiday of thanksgiving and wishes that unity, harmony, well-being and happiness flourish in every home.
