"Islam in Kazakhstan has always been a religion of peace and tolerance, creation and harmony. It is important for us to preserve this legacy. I believe that in order to give a correct explanation of traditional principles to the people based on the Koran and hadith, we should unite ulema and imams and work to restore the rich historical heritage. From religion, first of all, it is important to draw moral and ethical values," Nurlan Yermekbayev said in his speech.
