XII meeting of the Dialogue of the Republic of Kazakhstan - European Union on Human Rights

November 26 this year the XII meeting of the Dialogue of the Republic of Kazakhstan - European Union on Human Rights was held online.
In this event, the chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan E. Nukjezhanov made a report "On freedom of religion in Kazakhstan".
E.Nukezhanov informed the audience about the experience of Kazakhstan in ensuring interethnic and interfaith harmony, measures being implemented in Kazakhstan to create a Kazakh model of interaction between the state and religion. He also introduced the work done to ensure the rights of people to freedom of conscience and the establishment of constructive cooperation with all legally operating religious associations.
This event is envisaged as part of the implementation of the agreement on expanded partnership and cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the European Union.
