Office of the Religious Administration of Kazakhstan’s Muslims opened in Turkestan

Today, in the city of Turkestan, the permanent representative office of the Religious Administration of Kazakhstan’s Muslims has opened as part of the implementation of the programme of the Head of State “A look into the future modernization of public consciousness”.

The opening ceremony was attended by Vice Minister of Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Aryn, akim of the region Zhanseit Tuimebayev, chairman of Religious Administration of Kazakhstan’s Muslims Supreme Mufti Serikbay Oraz, representatives of veteran organizations and intelligentsia of the region, as well as imams of mosques.

In his congratulatory speech, B. Aryn expressed confidence that the rich history and continuous spiritual tradition of the region will lay a solid foundation for the establishment of a new sphere in one of the leading regions of the country and noted that the opening of the RAKM representative office will be a good start to a noble cause.

“In the recognition of Turkestan as the spiritual capital of the Turkic world and in the spread of Islam in the Great Steppe, the role of the spiritual teacher Ahmet Yassaui is invaluable. Therefore, our main task is to preserve and strengthen historical traditions, while guided by the continuity of the spiritual values ​​of our people. ”

 In the final part of his speech, B. Aryn congratulated those present on the creation of the Turkestan region and the opening of the representative office of the Religious Administration of Kazakhstan’s Muslims, as well as the appointment of Naib Mufti Nauryzbai Taganuly as the imam of the Turkestan region.
