Seminar for imams of the capital's mosques was held in Astana

On August 2, 2018, in Astana, the Center for the Study of Religious Problems of the Akimat of Astana held a seminar for imams of the capital’s mosques on the topic: “Doctrinal Foundations of Destructive Religious Movements: Prevention, Rehabilitation”.

The seminar was moderated by the director of the Applied Research Center, theologian Sabdin Askar Kalimzhanovich, a PhD student at the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture Nur-Mubarak, theologian Bauyrzhan Aliuly.

The purpose of this event is to improve the skills of specialists and religious literacy of the population, aimed at prevention of religious extremism and radicalism.

At the end of the seminar, attendees of the event were awarded certificates.
