Meeting of Vice Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan M. Azilkhanov with President of the non-governmental organization "LYNC" (USA) W. Cusack and Chairman of the Association of Religious Associations of Kazakhstan A. Klyushev

On October 12, in the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a meeting was held between the Vice-Minister of Information and Social Development M. Azilkhanov with the President of the organization "LYNC" U. Kusak and the chairman of the Association of Religious Associations of Kazakhstan A. Klyushev.

During the meeting, M. Azilkhanov noted that the Ministry provided and is ready to provide assistance to the NGO "LYNC" (USA) and AROC in organizing events to promote freedom of religion in Kazakhstan.

He also noted that Kazakhstan pays special attention to the development of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and the United States in the field of interfaith harmony and freedom of religion and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation and mutual understanding.

The meeting participants discussed the preparation for a series of round tables to discuss issues of religious freedom and the establishment of interfaith dialogue.
