The Council is an advisory body under the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The aim of the Council is to develop proposals and recommendations on public policy issues in the field of ensuring the rights of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan to freedom of religion, strengthening spiritual harmony in society, harmonizing interfaith relations.
