Export/import of products subject to export control are carried out on the basis of one-time licenses issued by the Committee for Industrial Development and Industrial Safety of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The license is an official document authorizing the applicant to carry out foreign economic operations with controlled products under the terms of the license for a specified period.
A one-time license is issued for the export/import of controlled products under one contract (contract, agreement) for one type (i.e. one HS code) for up to 1 year.
The qualification requirements for licensing, export and import of products and the list of documents confirming compliance with them were approved by Order No. 949 of the Acting Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 29, 2015.
The procedure for submitting and reviewing an application for a permit is established by Appendix 7 to the Order of the Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 30, 2015 No. 563 "On approval of standards of public services in the field of industry and export control".
Acceptance of the application and issuance of the result of the provision of public services is carried out through the e-government web portal www.egov .kz, www.elicense.kz.
