On July 17, on behalf of the Head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Ministry of ecology, Geology and natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan launched a hotline (+77759524900) to receive complaints about natural dumps. So, from July 17 to August 25, the hotline received 833 requests, 622 of them for natural dumps, 211 for container ones. The largest number of requests came from: Almaty region -107, Akmola -100, Karaganda – 88, East Kazakhstan-91 and Almaty -91. To date, 504 unauthorized landfills have been eliminated (61%). On the execution of 322 appeals, 7 complaints were not confirmed.
