Anti-corruption measures

На днях председателем Комитета экологического регулирования и контроля Зулфухаром Жолдасовым в онлайн режиме было  проведено совещание с территориальными Департаментами экологии. Recently, the chairman of the Committee for Environmental Regulation and Control Zulfukhar Zholdasov held an online meeting with the territorial Departments of ecology. The event was held through ZOOM with the participation of the leadership of the Committee and the Ethics Commissioner of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanibek Agibayev.
During the meeting, such issues as: prevention of anti-corruption among employees of environmental Departments, compliance with legislation and adopted anti-corruption restrictions, the formation of an anti-corruption culture among subordinates on a permanent basis, ensuring that conflicts of interest are not allowed, the implementation of state environmental control, etc. were considered. During the meeting, it was mentioned about the fact of the recent detention by the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Anti-Corruption Service) of one of the employees of the Department of Ecology. In this regard, the management of the Committee noted that the responsibility for corruption offenses of employees of the Departments of Ecology is directly borne by the head of the Department of Ecology.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Committee, Zulfukhar Zholdasov, instructed the structural divisions of the Committee to develop a list of issues on inspections and improve the flowchart of the algorithm for these inspections; to control the organization of an operational meeting with the territorial Departments of ecology on accidents in the regions and on public services, as well as to work out issues that will be considered at the next operational meeting.
The deadline for the execution of all the above-mentioned orders is set until September 10 of the current year.
