To date, there are 47 quarries in the city of Shymkent that are engaged in the extraction of construction materials. As a result, the pits and pits remain without reclamation. Environmental requirements are violated.
To solve this problem, the Department of Ecology for the city of Shymkent, together with the Akimat of the city, initiated lawsuits on forcing the owners of these quarries to their mandatory reclamation
The claims were fully satisfied by the court. By the decision of the legislative body, all involved legal entities are obliged to carry out restoration work at the production sites. The necessary obligations have already been assumed: "Hadji-k" LLP, "Shymkent tas" LLP, "Kumys-Tas" LLP, "Aldi-SO" LLP, "S-Aspandiyar" LLP, "Britex-Line" LLP, "Kazpromkirpich" LLP and "Onustik kurylys service" LLP. Currently, a number of restoration works have been carried out by Hadji-K LLP and Shymkent Tas.
Kumys Tas LLP has developed a phased liquidation project at the Tassai-II field. First, leveling and laying overburden rocks in a quarry, and then laying safe waste, followed by fixing the fertile soil layer.
It is important to note that this way two major problems will be solved: the reclamation of quarries and the use of non-hazardous inert construction waste.
Now a group of commissions on prematurely terminated contracts for subsurface use with the Akimat of the Turkestan region has also been created on the territory of Shymkent.
