A briefing on the implementation of the Roadmap was held in Almaty region

At a regular briefing in Almaty region, all ten points of the implementation of the Roadmap for a comprehensive solution to the environmental problems of the region were discussed.
The main issue of discussion was the gradual conversion of residential areas to gas fuel. So, in 2021, it is planned to build 30 block-modular boiler houses.
It was noted that since 2018, work is underway to transfer multi-apartment residential buildings to central heating. To date, 21 block-modular boiler houses of 129 multi-apartment residential buildings have been put into operation, and 14 more boiler houses are under construction.
According to the participants from among the representatives of government agencies and interested parties, the creation of the BMK and the transition to gas heating will improve the environmental condition of the Zhetysu region.
In 2020, two boilers were switched to natural gas. And as a result, emissions have decreased.
In the near future, two additional boiler houses in Taldykorgan will be replaced. First of all, this will improve the environmental situation of the region, reducing emissions into the atmosphere, and significantly reduce the cost of purchasing fuel.
According to the roadmap, local government agencies plan to build 30 block-modular boiler houses in 108 apartment buildings, relay data from the "AirKZ" mobile application on LED screens in Taldykorgan for online access to information about the state of atmospheric air, and plant green spaces of at least 50 thousand units per year.
In addition, the reconstruction and construction of the sewerage system, sewage networks and treatment facilities of the Eskelda district and the city of Kapshagai will be started.
