The Department of ecology of Atyrau region will be opened on unscheduled inspection in respect of the LLP "Atyrau oil refinery".

On November 1, 2020, the Department of ecology of the Atyrau region, together with the Chairman of the public Fund "Atameken-Eco" A. Khairulin, monitored the state of the environment of the city of Atyrau.
In the course of monitoring, wastewater discharge was detected by the enterprise LLP "Atyrau oil refinery" with a high content of petroleum products. To determine the chemical composition of wastewater, specialists of the Department's laboratory took water samples. Analysis in progress.
Currently, the Department is working on the appointment of an unscheduled inspection in relation to LLP "Atyrau oil refinery".
