At the regular session of the maslikhat

An extraordinary 37th session of the WKO maslikhat was held in the building of the regional maslikhat. It was attended by Governor of the region Gali Iskaliyev, his deputies, heads of departments and departments, representatives of non-governmental organizations, mass media.

Head of the regional Department of economy and budget planning Tlepbergen Kayupov informed about the proposed changes and additions to the regional budget. The total amount to be clarified was about 3 billion tenge, including an increase in tax revenues – 2.2 billion tenge, the release of optimized expenditures of budget program administrators – 868 million tenge.

- First of all, the expenses were used to Finance measures to combat the coronavirus. Namely: purchase of medical equipment for infectious diseases and provision hospitals in the region; purchase of ready-made modular instructions for placing the hospital complete with medical technological equipment with subsequent construction and installation works. At the same time, within the framework of the employment Roadmap, due to the redistribution of savings in the amount of 2.2 billion, they are also directed to this object. A total of 4.2 billion tenge is provided, - T. Kayupov noted in his speech.

In addition, according to the speaker, the expenses include replenishment of the reserve of the local Executive body – 200 million tenge. Funds were allocated in the amount of 56 million tenge to provide schools with high-speed broadband Internet and increase the speed.

The session also considered the issue of approving the Rules for the maintenance and protection of green spaces in the region. The report on this topic was made by the acting head of the Department of energy and housing and communal services of the WKO Beimbet Musin. The rules announced in the report introduce the concept of a register of green spaces in the city and region. This is a set of data on the types, species composition, condition and location of green spaces. It is introduced in order to have reliable data on the number and quality of green areas to determine the main directions in the field of their protection. The main task is to take into account every tree and every shrub. According to the rules, instead of one felled tree, now you will have to plant ten. And you will need to take care of them for three years, until they are fixed by their roots.

Next, the acting head of the Department of agriculture of the WKO Zhasulan Khaliullin spoke on the issue Of the rules for grazing farm animals in the region. The rules announced by the speaker are necessary to improve the existing situation with grazing in the region, including the systematic work of the authorized body and local Executive authorities on the rational management and use of pastures, improving grassland, taking measures to prevent degradation of pasture ecosystems, etc.

Another issue - the renaming of Eurasia Avenue to Abai Avenue was considered today by the elected representatives of the people. The deputies present unanimously decided to rename one of the main avenues of the city. Thus, from now on, Eurasia Avenue will be called Abay Avenue.

At the end of the session, Governor of the region Gali Iskaliyev thanked the deputies and expressed gratitude for their active and fruitful work.
