School-gymnasium of aesthetic direction in Uralsk moved to a new building on the eve of September 1

On the eve of the new school year in the Northern part of the city of Uralsk, a school-gymnasium of aesthetic direction was commissioned to teach 850 children. A new, spacious and bright school was built for them by SKF Nauryz LLP as part of the social projects of the subsoil user company KPO b. V. In 2019, the Governor's office of the West Kazakhstan region identified this project as a priority for Uralsk, in order to solve the problem with three-shift training of children in schools in the regional center. 

The school-gymnasium of aesthetic direction moved to its new building on the eve of the new school year – August 31, 2020. 850 children will study at the gymnasium, and more than 140 children will come to the first class.The opening ceremony of the school was attended by akim of WKO Gali Iskaliev and General Director of KPO b. V. Edwin Bloom. It should be noted that for 27 years the aesthetic gymnasium was located in a small, old kindergarten building in the center of Uralsk.

The high level of professionalism of the school's teachers, high-quality education and a special atmosphere of creativity have always attracted parents and children to it. Therefore, for many years, the gymnasium worked in non-standard mode – 558 children were trained here in 22 class sets – and because of the overcrowding of classes with students, teachers worked in it in three shifts. In 2019, the regional akimat decided to include the construction of a building for an aesthetic gymnasium in a number of priority projects implemented at the expense of social investments of KPO b.V. KPO b.V. allocated 1.7 billion tenge for the construction of the school. And in the second half of 2019, construction began to boil.

The contractor-SKF Nauryz LLP built the new school building in almost a year."Yesterday we celebrated the 25th anniversary of our Constitution. And she gave them a tour of the new classrooms of the gymnasium.She said that already during the construction of the new school building, Ural residents ' interest in learning in it has grown – now 850 children will start studying at the school, 36 class sets have been formed. Of these, 389 children will study in 25 duty classes-within the walls of the new school. The rest of the children will start learning online. Teachers have the opportunity to open classes in the gymnasium with the Kazakh language of instruction, which were not previously available – 2 first classes, and one class - for children from 2,3, 5,6 and 7 classes. Next year, as Aliya Kairzhanova notes, the number of class sets where children will be taught in the Kazakh language will be increased. According to her, 77 teachers are involved in the school, 53% of them are teachers of the highest category. "The work of the gymnasium is aimed at aesthetic education of children. We pay special attention to drawing lessons, art work in primary school, teaching children to play musical instruments, physical education and sports, - said the Director of the updated school-gymnasium.

– At the secondary level, our children begin to study English and mathematics in depth, engage in robotics, scientific research in physics, chemistry, and biology." It should be noted that in the new school building in the offices of the natural science cycle. In other words, special attention will be paid to improving the functional literacy of students, creating artificial things, and practical application of knowledge. The school has private classes with dombra, piano, piano and dance groups.
