The mayor of WKO called for strict compliance with quarantine standards at a meeting of the operational staff. It was also noted that the region has a sufficient number of medicines, equipment and doctors in case of a second wave of coronavirus. Under the chairmanship of Gali Iskaliev, a meeting of the operational staff was held where problematic issues and the General situation with the spread of coronavirus infection in the region were considered. Not a comforting forecast was presented by the head of the regional health Department Bolatbek Kayupov, who said that the second wave of the epidemic is expected in the fall.
– We passed very serious tests in may and June. Currently, the problem is mostly solved, the region has a sufficient supply of medicines, bed rest, and there is no acute shortage of medical personnel. But you can not relax, the epidemic is not over yet and about 10 cases of infection with a dangerous virus are registered every day. There are 114 people in hospitals, 11 of them are in serious condition, and 20 people are on artificial oxygen supply. 3,445 beds were deployed in the region, including 1,823 in quarantine and 752 in provision hospitals, and 870 in infectious diseases hospitals. To date, all this has been reduced to 891 places that remain and are ready to work. Now 159 medical workers are involved in hospitals. In total, the staff of doctors in the WKO is 1687 doctors and 6388 middle-level medical workers, 64 doctors arrived in the region, 104 specialists graduated from the West Kazakhstan medical College and also started working. Unfortunately, 1201 medical workers were ill. A special Commission was set up to pay compensation to employees of medical organizations involved in anti-epidemic measures. 159 materials on applications for payment were reviewed, 101 of them were satisfied. 13 materials were rejected, which are at the stage of approval with the mzo. Collection of materials for payment of compensation continues. According to statistical indicators, today the number of cases is 6,701, of which 3,412 are asymptomatic, 3,289 are symptomatic, and 5,882 people have recovered and 86 people have died. The autumn period is expected, and due to the high probability of coronavirus infection during the period of acute SARS and flu, it is necessary to start preventive work, in this connection, active vaccination against influenza will be carried out. 67 thousand doses are purchased from the local budget and an application for 83 thousand doses of the vaccine has been submitted. The upcoming period is extremely difficult, we expect a "mix" of infections, in which there may be a complication of our usual diseases and the addition of covid. In this regard, it is extremely important to observe all sanitary standards by the population. We have formed 590 reserve beds, mobile teams of epidemiological consultants for emergency calls, and developed an algorithm of actions. Special teams have been created, and the MPSP service has taken control of people from the risk group. Special transport has been allocated at the ambulance station and teams have been approved. There is currently no shortage of medication. In total, there are 130 ventilators, 451 oxygen concentrators, 10 tamographs, 47 x-ray machines in the region, and there will be a supply of medical equipment, " Bolatbek Kayupov said. The head of the regional health Department emphasized that when the cold season comes, the population will be indoors and the risk of developing new infections increases, which is a serious danger for vulnerable groups of the population. He also stressed that many countries are already facing a repeat epidemic of coronavirus infection and need to prepare in advance. Governor of WKO Gali Iskaliev paid special attention to strict compliance with quarantine standards and the danger of the autumn wave of the epidemic. He also noted that there is a ban on holding mass events.
– We have a tool for paying bonuses for those who will help us, the society to record cases of mass events. Now some will call it "snitching" and so on, but this is not true, it is support and assistance to society in the fight against the virus. Today, the Commission will determine the specific amount and method of proof. That is, if there is a mass event somewhere, people who see it and worry about their health and the health of their loved ones and do not want to allow the spread of infection should inform the SES and the police. They will be rewarded for their help in fighting the epidemic. Our 130 monitoring groups cannot go from morning to evening in all localities and record violations. We need people's help here, because this is a universal problem. We have some people who are not conscious and still hold mass events. Our President has repeatedly noted that all this can be left for later. The virus has not gone anywhere, but everyone has relaxed after the quarantine, and they think that the problem has been solved. Now there is no vaccine against coronavirus, and it is not possible to overcome it, so only the responsibility of each of us can overcome it, " Gali Iskaliev stressed. The Governor of WKO also drew attention to the need to reduce prices for medical masks. Head of the Department of entrepreneurship and industrial and innovative development of WKO Yernar Beketov said that there is no shortage of PPE in the region, local production of medical masks and protective suits produce products in sufficient volume. - The specialized enterprise for the production of medical masks is "Kazmedkhol", the production capacity is 45,000 units, the maximum retail price of the mask is not higher than 85 tenge. Now a mechanism has been developed to reduce the cost of masks, pharmacy chains buy masks directly from manufacturers. Thus, the cost is 40 tenge, the retail price should not be higher than 55 tenge. Currently, masks are sold at a more expensive price, since the warehouses of the retail pharmacy chain have a large stock of masks purchased at the old price. As the old stocks are sold, the price will decrease – " said Yernar Beketov. At the meeting, the number of offenses and their amount for the period of quarantine in the WKO were also announced. So, according to the chief sanvrach of the region Mukhamgali Aryspaev, the total amount of fines for violations amounted to about 34 million tenge. He noted that most violations were detected for violations of the quarantine regime, holding mass events, and traveling by private vehicle after 23. The chief health officer urged the population to keep a social distance, use personal protective equipment, avoid crowded places and exclude mass events. Summing up the meeting, Gali Iskaliev once again stressed that the risk of infection with the virus is still high and every resident of the region must strictly observe personal safety and quarantine standards.
