WKO is building the second largest greenhouse in the country

The construction of the largest greenhouse complex in the region and the second largest in the country, located on an area of 17 hectares of "World Green Company"LLP, has already been completed by 40% in Novenky and Baiterek.
By the New year, residents of the region will be able to purchase local products from the greenhouse.
Currently, the greenhouse complex is being installed. The buildings will be constructed of metal structures, and the roofs and walls will be made of glass.
– We ordered the glass from the local company "Stekloservice" LLP. This complex will be fully automated, with computer control, human participation only turning on and off computers. For the first three years, the Dutch will fully support our project. This is the second such greenhouse in the country in terms of capacity, and another one was built in Almaty. We plan to grow 4500 tons of cucumbers and 3500 tons of tomatoes per year – "said Murat Ibragimov, Director of" World Green Company " LLP.
The area of the greenhouse itself is 12 hectares, the project cost is 14 billion tenge, and the capacity is 8 thousand tons of products per year.
The project "Construction of a greenhouse complex for growing tomatoes and cucumbers" was supported at the meeting of the regional Council for attracting investment, improving the investment climate and promoting exports of the West Kazakhstan region in 2018.
– As part of the project, 150 people are involved during the construction of the facility, after commissioning, about 200 permanent jobs will be created.
To date, the regional budget Commission has supported 75.7 million tenge from the local budget for the supply of gasification, water supply (technical water) and Sewerage in the framework of the state program for business support and development "business Road map-2025" for the tool summing up the missing infrastructure.
An investment contract was also signed between the Investment Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan and "World Green Company" LLP for exemption from customs duties on the import of construction materials and equipment. The greenhouse complex is planned to be put into operation in early 2021 – - said the head of the investment Department of the Department of entrepreneurship and industrial and innovative development of WKO Iliyas Kalitov.
This project is the implementation of the state policy on creating an agri-food belt around cities. In other words, this solves the strategic task of providing food to the region and leveling the growth of prices for vegetables, especially in the off-season. Eco-friendly vegetables will be delivered from the beds directly to retail chains and buyers will be able to purchase a quality product.
The high quality of vegetables is guaranteed by Dutch equipment and a number of innovative solutions, such as: lighting, blurring, curtain system, drip irrigation.
West Kazakhstan residents will be able to purchase the first products of a local manufacturer in January 2021.
It should be noted that today most of the domestic market of the region is occupied by imported products. Vegetables from the greenhouse of "World Green Company" LLP will ensure not only domestic demand, but also neighboring regions.
