The covid wave will roll from Russia to the border region of the Urals. The akim of the West Kazakhstan Region is sure of this.
Despite the relative stabilization of the situation on the CVI in our region, the danger persists and requires strict compliance with sanitary requirements and more vaccination. Launched raids to identify unvaccinated employees may result in large fines - up to 4.6 million tenge.
As Gali Iskaliev noted during the next meeting of the covid control center, the increase in its incidence in neighboring Russia is breaking records in the history of the pandemic (34325 cases in the Russian Federation only on October 18, including 915 in Samara, 399 in Orenburg and 408 in Saratov regions).
- The other day, friends from Bashkiria turned to us and asked us to help them with oxygen, which is in great shortage in their hospitals due to the influx of patients, - said the akim of the West Kazakhstan region. – A new wave of coronavirus is approaching us. After all, up to 1,500 people cross the borders with the Russian Federation every day, many of whom may be asymptomatic carriers of infection
In this regard, according to the chief sanitary doctor of the West Kazakhstan Region Mukhamgali Aryspaev, sanitary quarantine measures at the border have been strengthened. Up to 12 epidemiologists are on duty around the clock in special points.
The chief doctor of the West Kazakhstan region, Arman Kalibekov, in turn, said that since the beginning of this year, 628 West Kazakhstanis have died from the pandemic. On average, 15-25 patients are now admitted to the infectious diseases hospital of the region per day. The disease is difficult to treat. And if earlier their course of treatment was 10 days, now it has increased to the 21st.
22% of patients are immediately transferred to the intensive care unit upon admission, up to 56% get there on the 5th-10th day and over this - 18%, - said the acting head of the regional health department. - Basically, unvaccinated persons are admitted to the intensive care unit – up to 95% over 55 years old, who are usually infected by relatives who carry CVI asymptomatically. The most common consequences of CVI are neurological, heart failure, pulmonary fibrosis, kidney damage and complications of the musculoskeletal system
Gali Iskaliyev noted that since October 17, monitoring groups have been given the right to check public and private facilities for mandatory vaccination.
- If less than 60% of employees are vaccinated in organizations with the 1st component, fines will follow, - the akim of the West Kazakhstan Region warned. - We have enough vaccines, everything is free, and they are already showing their effectiveness. And the fines are quite substantial: for small businesses – over 670 thousand, medium – more than 900 thousand and large - up to more than 4 million tenge. If you don't want to pay, get vaccinated. And in case of repeated cases, we will bring them to the closure of enterprises. Many people do not suspect about the severe consequences of covid, but this can result in loss of vision, a manifestation of diabetes mellitus and a renal complication. Do not endanger yourself and your loved ones
