For the first time in the whole country, the akims of districts are elected by the population. This is a clear manifestation of democracy. The people took this change well. The proof of this is the active participation of residents in today's elections.

I am an observer at the polling station No. 367 in the village of Podstepnoye, Terektinsky district. Today, the elections of the village akim are held at their own level. I watch and watch as the villagers come to cast their votes without any pressure. All sanitary standards have been observed at the polling station. There was no negative reaction during the voting.
