President of Kazakhstan: The only reliable solution in the fight against coronavirus is vaccination

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev called on all Kazakhstanis to take the vaccine as soon as possible.

"At the meeting on measures to combat coronavirus infection, he said: the only reliable solution in the fight against coronavirus is vaccination. In two months, less than 0.1% of the population has been vaccinated in Kazakhstan!", the President stated.

"The government should reverse the situation in April by providing supplies from abroad and its own production of vaccines. I urge all citizens to take the vaccine as soon as possible. This is taking care of yourself, your elders and loved ones, " the Head of State urged.

The experience of China, Israel and the United Arab Emirates shows that only a well-thought-out strategy of vaccination and exit from lockdowns can ensure the restoration of normal life of citizens and the resumption of activity in all sectors of the economy, including those sensitive to the pandemic, he said.

Recall that on April 1, 2021, the Head of State held a meeting on the epidemiological situation of coronavirus infection in the country.
