Ski race to Nauryz

In the Khan's Grove of Uralsk, a 3, 6-kilometer ski race was organized with the participation of the governor of the region Gali Iskaliyev, the head of the regional Department of Sports and Physical culture Kaymen Yesendiyarov.

The ranks of skiers were joined by students of sports schools together with coaches, as well as amateurs from among the citizens. Some came with families, with children, the youngest of whom is 6 years old. Artur Sendyukov, a student of the 2nd grade of the Waldorf school-gymnasium, came to the ski track with his father, a coach. The weather on the day of the spring equinox turned out to be warm, the snow on the ski track did not have time to melt yet. According to Kaymen Yesendiyarov, each participant chooses a distance to match his training and abilities, here the main thing is participation, there is no need to compete.

The event was held in compliance with sanitary standards and social distance.
