Products-in the hands of the consumer

"From the field to the counter." This is the name of a new project to support the villagers, proposed by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the final meeting of the State Commission on the State of Emergency. Terektintsy were among the first in the region to take up its implementation in practice.

Last Tuesday, KAZIITU hosted a meeting of representatives of the Terekty district akimat with its staff. The participants of the meeting were offered products for tasting: all of excellent quality, environmentally friendly and safe. As you know, this pilot project involves the development of a cooperative chain in rural areas. Here is what the adviser to the akim of the Terektinsky district on business consulting, Maira Isenova, told us.

- We are implementing a project to create a cooperative that will help our rural farmers to sell their products without intermediaries directly to buyers at prices below market prices. Giving the same milk, cottage cheese or sour cream to intermediaries, they then count their losses. To help financially vulnerable producers, the program "from the field to the counter"is designed. You know that local producers always have a problem with the sale of goods. The established cooperatives will directly conclude contracts with organizations and enterprises for their supply, which will provide citizens with high-quality and inexpensive goods. So today we specially came to the regional center, to this university, to start our work. In the future, of course, the cooperation of Terekta cooperatives with other organizations will expand. We plan to develop a network of retail outlets with our brand in the city.

Alibi Bayakhov, Rector of the Kazakhstan University of Innovative and Telecommunications Systems, expressed gratitude to the project participants on behalf of the team. According to him, now university employees have the opportunity to directly receive the much-needed high-quality and inexpensive agricultural products directly at the workplace, without losing personal time. It is necessary to send a request with the required quantity of products to a special address on the phone, as on a certain day the order will be executed.

The head of the district department of agriculture, Nurlan Berdigaliyev, told the audience about the great work being done in the district to unite agricultural workers and create an agricultural production cooperative.

- As a starting point for the implementation of projects in this area, the villagers, united in a cooperative called "Barbastau Farmers", offer you, consumers, their products. They brought today for sale 150 liters of milk, as well as cottage cheese, sour cream, ayran. Delivery will be carried out twice a week on certain days. This is what the memorandum will be signed about, " Nurlan Adiyetovich said.

The chairman of the trade union committee of KAZIITU employees, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Talgat Rakhmetov stressed that this is a wonderful project. He noted that agricultural production is developed at a high level in the Terekty district. According to him, the members of the trade union liked the idea of direct delivery of fresh products, especially since the district is located in the immediate vicinity of the city.

The bilateral memorandum was signed by the mayor of Terekty district Arman Utegulov and the rector of the Kazakhstan University of Innovative and Telecommunications Systems Alibi Bayakhov.

- Today, the first products of the Farmers of Barbastau, who have cooperated with the villagers, were delivered. In the future, Terekta cooperatives will supply not only dairy products, but also beef, horse meat, poultry, greenhouse products, and vegetable crops from the fields. If today we signed a memorandum with KAZIITU, then the same document is planned to be signed with the WKSU named after M. Utemisov, WKATU named after Zhangir Khan, negotiations were held with them. And such work will continue. The creation of cooperatives allows the villagers, most importantly, to sell their own products without intermediaries-resellers, to be independent of the conjuncture of various markets, and also to optimize the cost of production.

In general, the project" From the field to the counter " is expected to bring great benefits to literally all producers. This sound idea will help small farms to stand firmly on their feet. It assumes a targeted, targeted approach to them with various measures of state support and overcoming administrative barriers. The implementation of this project, of course, will ensure the coordination of peasant and farm farms and will lead to an improvement in the social situation among the rural population of our district, " said Arman Utegulov, akim of the Terekty district, in an interview.
