Today, a meeting of the headquarters for the prevention of coronavirus infection was held under the chairmanship of the Governor of the West Kazakhstan region Gali Eskaliyev.

A number of issues were considered at the meeting. The first of them was the appointment of the deputy akim of the region. Since January 2019, he has held the position of Deputy Mayor of the city of Uralsk.

The next issue that was discussed at the headquarters meeting was the CVI epidemic situation. According to the deputy head of the regional department of sanitary and epidemiological control Nurlybek Mustayev, the epidemic situation in the region is still unstable. 30-80 people are infected with the epidemic per day. In the region, 4244 people are infected with CVI. Compared to the previous weeks, the incidence of coronavirus on the last Friday decreased by five percent. 39.6% of patients were examined for ARVI, 39% - for the examination of family members of patients, the rest-for the preventive direction.

- Over the past day, 39 residents of the region have been infected with the virus. In the field of education, most schools switched to the traditional format in the third quarter. In the field of education of the region, 307 cases were registered. That is, in 16 schools, 25 classes are closed for quarantine. The epidemic is not yet localized. Today-there are more holidays. Especially many holidays that are celebrated in March. Therefore, in order for residents not to get infected with CVI, it is necessary to strictly comply with sanitary requirements and postpone the celebration. It is necessary to once again strengthen the work of the monitoring group on the prevention of family, festive feasts, " Nurlybek Mustayev said.
