THE REPUBLICAN COMMAND AND STAFF EXERCISES “KOKTEM-2021 " ARE HELD IN THE WEST KAZAKHSTAN REGION”

On March 4, 2021, the Republican command and Staff exercises "Koktem-2021" began in the West Kazakhstan region, the main purpose of which is to increase the level of readiness of the State Civil Protection System and the population to eliminate emergencies in the spring period.

In the first half of the day, the deputy head of the exercise, the head of the DCHS of the WKO, Major General Zh. Dzhumashev, together with the heads of local executive bodies, as well as representatives of civil protection services and formations, life support facilities, held meetings at which the main objectives of the exercise and ways to implement them were discussed and specified. After receiving the training signal, the task force went to the conditional place of emergency situations in the village of Michurino, Baiterek district.

In the exercise area, the following operations of the task force are carried out, such as evacuation of the population and ice cutting, as well as water pumping operations. For the autonomous operation of the involved group, as well as the reception of the affected population at the site of emergency response, deploy a field camp. In total, 45 personnel, 4 pieces of equipment, and 2 ice-cutting units take part in the training areas.
To date, it is planned to perform priority tasks and conduct emergency and emergency work.

On March 5, 2021, introductory signals on emergency situations and ways to solve them in this training area of the region are also planned.
