"We need a program for the development of the regional healthcare system"
Last year, 13,670 children were born in the region, 129 of them died before reaching the age of one year. He noted that 76 children died in the maternity hospital, in the early neonatal period. 38 people died in the department of neonatal pathology of the regional children's hospital. These and other health issues were discussed today in the regional akimat. The meeting with the participation of healthcare workers and industry veterans was chaired by the head of the region Gali Iskaliyev.
- Last year, there was an increase in infant mortality in maternity hospitals and children's hospitals. The cause of maternal and infant mortality is caused by various circumstances. Among the perinatal causes, first of all, premature birth of weak and premature children from mothers with extragenital diseases, miscarriage of work on health improvement and rehabilitation of women who are registered at the dispensary, insufficient work of the School of Health for Women. Also last year, three maternal deaths were registered in the region. One of them died on January 2 from SARS, one-from pulmonary tuberculosis, and the third-from the coronavirus epidemic. The cause of the mother's death is the lack of consideration before the delivery process. A pregnant woman should be registered at an early stage and undergo ultrasound three times during pregnancy. Late registration, i.e. the delivery of the first ultrasound or genetic analysis after 20 weeks, does not reveal the malaise of the child's health in the abdominal cavity. To prevent the death of the fetus, you must first strictly monitor the health of the pregnant woman and prepare for childbirth. I would like to develop a family, the work of child planning offices, allocate funds from the budget for enrolling young specialists in the residency of the department of Neontology and pediatric resuscitation of the medical field, " said Gizatolla Lyamov, deputy head of the regional health department.
The next issue that was discussed at the meeting was the departure of residents of the region to the Samara region of Russia, Almaty, Nur-Sultan in search of treatment. The report was made by the acting head of the regional health department Arman Kalibekov, who spoke about the financing of the medical industry of the region, about the missing medical equipment. According to him, this year the regional health care received 58.1 billion US dollars. Of these, 1.02 billion.- to improve the material and technical base, purchase modern medical equipment. The allocated funds will be used for cardiovascular surgery, oncological and ophthalmological care, maxillofacial surgery and maternal and child health care. To fully provide the missing medical equipment in this area and train specialists for this industry, more than $ 2 billion has been allocated-no need, " he said. There is a need to attract these funds from the local and national budgets and at the expense of private investors. Because the lack of modern medical equipment sometimes causes inconvenience in receiving patients. For example, in the timely detection and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, it is necessary to conduct an electrophysiological analysis of the heart (EFI). Such an analysis is not carried out in the region due to the lack of special medical equipment, so patients go to clinics in the republic and near and far abroad, receive treatment on the basis of quotas and at their own expense. To solve this problem and build a new device, we need 550 million tenge. "The device for mammographic analysis of girls is also outdated now. And in eight medical institutions in the region, there is no mammograph at all. Due to the shortage of modern medical equipment in the field of healthcare, residents of the region travel and receive treatment in the countries of near and far abroad," Arman Talgatovich said.
Also at the meeting, industry veterans noted the shortcomings and achievements in the field of healthcare. Baktygali Akhmetov, a veteran of the industry, noted the need for a medical outpatient clinic in each village, and the paperwork of doctors.
- Based on reasonable criticism from the population and veterans of the medical industry, it is necessary to prepare a program for the development of the regional health system. First of all, it is necessary to implement projects related to urgent health conditions of mother and child, cardiovascular diseases and oncological diseases. We need to find sources of financial resources, implement a plan-project for medical equipment and professional development of doctors. Work is also underway to open a family medical dispensary in the villages. After all, the fate of an entire nation is behind such needs, " said Governor of the region Gali Nazhimedenuly.
