THE PROJECTS "ECO-SCHOOL" AND "ECOBALANCE" WERE IMPLEMENTED IN THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF THE WEST KAZAKHSTAN REGION»

 

Environmental education is not a part of knowledge, but a new essence and goal of the modern educational process. Therefore, the issues of environmental education, upbringing, and the formation of environmental culture are now coming to the fore.

The relevance of environmental education and upbringing is emphasized by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. In his Address to the People of Kazakhstan dated September 1, 2020, Tokayev said: "Environmental protection and environmental development are at the forefront of Kazakhstan's agenda. Schools and universities should pay due attention to the environmental education of the younger generation."

To this end, solving the problem of greening the educational process, the Department of Education has created a single ecological educational space.

In honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in order to form the ecological culture of the younger generation, study the ecological state of the environment, and involve schools and kindergartens of the city of Uralsk and the district in practical participation in solving environmental problems, all 30 educational institutions have implemented the projects "eco-school"and " Ecobalances".

Schools and kindergartens-participants of the project create an environmental council, schools work in the areas of "flora and soil", "animal world", "Air", "Water", "ABC of Nature Management" and preschool organizations "introduction to environmental books", "in the world of animals", "environmental games", "creativity", " nature researchers (scouts)".

As a result of the project, we hope to expand the knowledge of the younger generation about the diversity of the environment, animal and plant life, to increase the level of environmental culture of students, starting with preschool organizations, as well as to expand the number of educational institutions included in the projects "eco-school" and "Ecobalances".
