According to the West Kazakhstan Region, students of 205 schools are covered by hot meals

According to article 165 of the Sanitary rules "Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for educational facilities" approved by order of the Minister of health of the Republic of Kazakhstan of August 16, 2017 No. 611 in educational institutions of primary, secondary and secondary level and meals can be arranged depending on the current epidemiological situation on the decision of local Executive bodies and with the agreement of the chief sanitary doctor of the territories concerned.

The education departments of the districts (cities), in addition to the Akzhaik, Burlinsky, Syrymsky and Chingirlau districts, are working together with the local departments of sanitary and epidemiological control to organize hot meals in duty classes in compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements. To date, 205 schools have organized hot meals for students of grades 1-4 and children from families of socially vulnerable categories. Of these, 115 schools are in the normal mode, 90 schools are in the combined mode.

During the organization of hot meals, the requirements for food facilities in educational organizations are provided for the period of introduction of restrictive measures, including quarantine and 30% occupancy of canteens.
