In 2021, Uralsk will start filling vehicles with compressed natural gas

The West Kazakhstan region supported the use of natural gas as a motor fuel. The first automobile gas-filling compressor station (CNG) will appear in the regional center next year.

This was stated during the meeting of akim of WKO Gali Iskaliyev and General Director of KazTransGas Onimderi LLP Alik Ashirov.

The construction of the CNG station will take place as part of the conversion of the region's motor transport to natural gas. The project will be supported by JSC "SEC "Aqjaiyq".

The Governor of the region has repeatedly spoken about the need to use cheaper and more environmentally friendly fuel in the operation of municipal vehicles and social bus fleets.

The technology of using natural gas has a number of fundamental technical and financial advantages. That is why it was decided to transfer part of the bus fleet to compressed (compressed) gas.

By prior agreement with the company "KazTransGas Onimderi", the company "SKYMAX TECHNOLOGIES" acted as a General contractor, supplier of technological equipment, as well as a performer of all types of construction works.

According to Alik Ashirov, the land issue is currently being resolved according to the most convenient location of the CNG station. Defined plot of land on Zelewski track. The station will have 4 speakers on 2 sides.

- For these purposes, the city akimat and private carriers plan to purchase new buses. In addition, it is planned to transfer utility vehicles to natural gas. It is also necessary to work out in advance the issue of the prospects for expanding gas stations. And also to provide service, - the head of the region emphasized.

In view of the above, the parties will have to sign a trilateral agreement with an indication of the work plan.
