Awarded to excellent agricultural workers

Today, the Governor of the region Gali Iskaliev congratulated workers and veterans of the agricultural industry on their professional holiday-the Day of agricultural workers, food and processing industry.

Thank-you letters, diplomas of the Ministry of agriculture of Kazakhstan, the medal "Auyl sarasalai salasini SDG" and "Yenbek ardageri" are from the hands of akim of the region received the heads and specialists of agricultural enterprises, farmers, workers of processing enterprises of the region, veterans of the agricultural sector.

Gali Iskaliev thanked the people who work on the land for their selfless and conscientious work.

– President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his Message "Kazakhstan in the new reality: a time for action" has set local authorities a number of tasks which will undoubtedly give a new impetus to the development of agriculture. Currently, digitalization of the agro-industrial complex using digital technologies is in full swing in the region. I hope that the agricultural workers of our region will make their efforts to implement the tasks set – " the speaker stressed.

This year, the agricultural sector has experienced a difficult and special period. In the context of the pandemic, the advantages and strategic importance of the agricultural sector have become apparent.

– I believe that employees of agricultural, food and processing enterprises who regularly provide the population of our region with food and regularly carry out work on the sowing and harvesting campaign deserve every respect. It is well known that the basis of business in rural areas is agriculture, " Gali Iskaliyev said.

According to him, today about 50 thousand people work in the agricultural sector of the region. This year, 20.6 billion tenge was allocated to support the agricultural sector, which is 30.4% more than in 2019. According to the results of 10 months of this year, the volume of gross agricultural output of the region amounted to 167.7 billion tenge.

– All these achievements were made possible thanks to you, the workers of the village, - Gali Iskaliev summed up.
