Six new schools are being built in the WKO

This year, the West Kazakhstan region allocated 8 billion tenge for the construction of six new schools, the correspondent of MIA "Kazinform"reports.

In his Address to the people of Kazakhstan, the President instructed to create conditions for further development of the education sector and obtaining quality education available to the population. As noted by WKO akim Gali Iskaliev, speaking at a press conference in the Central communications Service, at the moment more than 30 thousand children are being brought up in pre-school organizations in the region. Coverage of children from 3 to 6 years of preschool education is 100% provided. For a radical solution to the problems of education discusses ways to attract private investors to build kindergartens and transfer the buildings of former preschools under a public-private partnership. "At the beginning of this school year, we had 7 three-shift and 7 emergency schools. This year, 5 schools will solve the issues of three shifts. Next year, we plan to solve the problem of 2 more schools with the remaining three shifts. For emergency schools, this year, due to new construction, the problem of two schools will be solved. The remaining schools remain in the plans for 2021-2022, " Iskaliev said. This year, in the whole region, 8 billion tenge was allocated for the construction of six schools. Also, major repairs under state programs are carried out in 33 educational institutions in the West Kazakhstan region in the amount of 8.8 billion tenge. It is worth noting that this year two new schools are being built by attracting private investment. In accordance with 5 social initiatives of the Head of state, in order to provide students with dormitories, the construction of 4 dormitories for 1200 places was started at the expense of private investors. In September, the West Kazakhstan higher medical College commissioned a hostel for 144 places.
