Tomorrow, October 7, the city's thermal power plant will start supplying heat via main and intra-block networks to urban neighborhoods. This decision was made by the management of the heat supply company – JSC "Zhaiykteploenergo" - on behalf of the WKO akim Gali Iskaliev, which he announced at a meeting of the regional headquarters for the fight against coronavirus.
Kuat Musin, General Director of JSC "Zhaiykteploenergo", told the media that today, on October 6, the heat and power plant (TPP) began preparatory work for starting heating in the apartments of citizens.
– We provide heating at a certain temperature regime – when the average daily temperature is kept within 8 degrees Celsius for three days. Now the average temperature outside is plus 11 degrees: it is already cold at night and hot during the day. However, due to the coronavirus epidemic, just yesterday, at a meeting of the headquarters in dimat, it was decided to start the heating season ahead of time, " Kuat Musin said.
According to him, full-scale preparation for the heating season began at the CHPP on October 6: an additional power boiler for generating steam has been put into operation, the heating networks are being filled with water, and network pumps have been launched to raise the pressure in the heating system.
Tomorrow, October 7, heat engines together with the chairmen of the KSK will begin to supply heating to the apartments of Ural residents. Musin promised that by the end of this week, more than 50% of residential buildings in Uralsk will be provided with heat.
– The issue of providing multi-storey residential buildings with heating is solved jointly with the KSK. We supply heat only to the entrances – inside the houses it is distributed through networks that are served by the residents themselves and their KSK. Whether there will be people with heating depends largely on how well prepared the internal heating networks of the KSK are, how quickly they will respond to our call to give heat to apartments earlier than the due date for a whole week, " Kuat said Musin.
He said that since September 18, social institutions have been heated in Uralsk: now 90% of schools, 30% of health facilities and 50% of kindergartens are provided with heat.
At the moment, the population of Uralsk owes JSC "Zhaiykteploenergo" 365 million tenge, of which 180 million are unpromising debts, which cannot be "knocked out" of the population for several years (the apartments are not inherited, are empty or tenants live in them).
