Reserves of the WKO stabilization Fund of socially significant food products for the autumn-winter period have been formed. Cereals, vegetables, sunflower oil and meat will be sold at affordable prices in Uralsk and other regions of the region. The same price remains for social bread – two Ural bakeries will bake it at the price of 80 tenge for a loaf of grade 1 flour, the correspondent of MIA "Kazinform"reports.
"In 2020, the WKO akimat allocated 550 million tenge for the formation of a stable Fund. With this money, more than 1,200 tons of goods were purchased for 9 items – grade 1 flour, buckwheat, rice, sugar, salt, chicken legs, beef meat, vegetable oil and horns. Most of the contracts for the purchase of food products are concluded with local and Kazakh producers. Only sugar is imported in the total food basket: 267 tons of it have been purchased in Belarus, and about 30 more tons will be purchased in the near future. The total cost of purchased goods is 345 million tenge, "said Artur Doskaliev, first Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC NC SEC "AQJAIYK".
He explained that the remaining available funds will be spent on providing loans to producers of the WKO to stabilize prices for manufactured products. For example, a repayable loan of 150 million tenge was granted to Beles-Market LLP to stabilize prices for sunflower oil, flour and pasta. All purchased products will be sold through the network of supermarkets "Altinda" and "Dean" at prices significantly below market. These prices will be set by the Commission formed at the stable Fund.
Since the introduction of the state of emergency and quarantine in the country, bakeries in the region were sold about 400 tons of first-grade flour from the stable Fund (until March this year, bakeries purchased about 400 tons of flour from the stabilization reserve at a low price). IP "Isaev" (Bakery No. 1) and IP "Taletsky" ("Zhelaev NAS") purchased this flour for baking social bread of the 1st grade at the price of 80 tenge. For the next year, it is planned to allocate the necessary amount of grade 1 flour to these bakeries at a reduced price from the new crop in order to bake affordable bread.
SP "Taleski" sell bread and bakery products through a network of specialized shops. In total, this bakery has 28 retail outlets in the city. As the company's management notes, there is enough flour for baking social bread until the new year. Up to 20 thousand loaves of bread of various varieties are baked here every day, including 4 thousand loaves of social bread.
Also this fall, the stable Fund will buy additional vegetables-potatoes, onions, carrots, cabbage.
