In West Kazakhstan region 885 thousand ha of unused agricultural land were identified

Since last year, 885 thousand ha of unused agricultural land have been identified in WKR

Currently, 95 thousand hectares have been returned to state property from among the unused lands, of which 28 thousand hectares are involved in agricultural turnover. As a result of the work, land users on an area of 427 thousand hectares began to develop their land plots.

Based on materials from land plots with an area of 363 thousand ha, work is underway to return to state ownership. In 2020, through tenders, land use rights were granted for 151 land plots with an area of 119 thousand hectares. It is planned to hold 10 competitions in 117 plots with an area of 175 thousand ha.

In addition, the region holds auctions for the sale of rental rights to land for commercial purposes. In 2020, 16 auctions were held. As a result, 40 land plots were sold. It is planned to hold 4 auctions on 16 land plots with an area of 15 hectares.

Land is being allocated for individual housing construction. To receive such sites in the queue are 103 733 people. In 2020, 155 plots were provided. To date, the "Нұрлы Жер" program plans to provide 660 sites in Burlinsky and the Bayterek region.

In order to implement the state program “Digital Kazakhstan”, a geoportal of local executive bodies is being created in the WKO. Currently, work is underway to test public services, prepare the necessary operational documentation and implement geoanalytical tools. The geoportal is planned to be put into commercial operation at the end of September 2020.
