E-government is a single mechanism of interaction between the state and citizens, as well as state bodies with each other, ensuring their consistency with the help of information technologies. It is this mechanism that has made it possible to reduce queues to state bodies and simplify and speed up the receipt of certificates, certificates, permits, and much more.

What is an Electronic digital signature?
An electronic digital signature (EDS) is an analog of a handwritten signature. EDS is used to give an electronic document legal force equal to the legal force of a paper document signed with the authorized person's own signature and sealed. An EDS is a detail of an electronic document obtained as a result of cryptographic transformation of information using the Electronic registration and private key of the EDS.
You can get an electronic digital signature for the following storage types:
- file system - if you select this option, the keys and registration certificates will be stored on Your personal computer as files;
- Kaztoken - when selecting this medium, keys and registration certificates will be stored on an external secure key information carrier, protected with a pin code;
- E-Token – when this option is selected, keys and registration certificates will be stored on an external secure key information carrier, protected with a pin code. The advantage of this storage location is the inability to copy private keys, the disadvantage is the need to purchase media.
- AKEY – if you select this option, the keys and registration certificates will be stored on an external secure key information carrier, protected with a pin code. The advantage of this storage location is the inability to copy private keys, the disadvantage is the need to purchase media.
- JaCarta – if you select this option, the keys and registration certificates will be stored on an external secure key information carrier, protected with a pin code. The advantage of this storage location is the inability to copy private keys, the disadvantage is the need to purchase a card reader for reading.
- EDS on a sim card - when you select this media, the keys and registration certificates will be stored on your phone's sim card. You can purchase the corresponding sim card in the sales departments of mobile operators.
- ID cards-for recording EDS on the ID card chip (for individuals), you must contact the nearest Department of the NAO "State Corporation "Government for citizens" (PSC), presenting your ID card. The validity of the digital signature of 1 year applies only to the file system. If the EDS keys are recorded on secure media (ID Card, Kaztoken, Etoken, Akey, JaCarta) then the validity period will be 3 years.
