Information from the event dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Great Victory and the Defender of the Fatherland Day "Ensesi biik-uly Zhenis"

On May 5, 2021, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the West Kazakhstan region held in the House of Friendship the event "Ensesy biik-uly Zhenis", dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War and the Defender of the Fatherland Day. Soldiers-internationalists of the Afghan war, former military personnel on the Tajik-Afghan border and the Airborne Forces, members of the youth wing of the Assembly "Zhagyru Zholy" took part in this event.

In his welcoming speech, the head of the KSU "Kogamdyk kelisim" of the Department of Internal Affairs of the WKO Kambetov Medkhat Musaevich stressed the importance of the meeting in preserving the memory of the exploits of Soviet soldiers in the Great Patriotic War, at the cost of the lives of those who defended the Motherland, and also in the patriotic education of youth.

Chairman of the Public Association "West Kazakhstan Regional Society of Disabled and Veterans of the Afghan War" Gabdelov Berkingali Serikovich and Assistant to the Chairman of the Public Association "Union of Veterans of the Airborne Troops and Special Forces of the West Kazakhstan Region" Imangaliev Marlen Gilmanovich and other participants shared their memories at the event meetings.

Zalina Aliyeva, deputy chairman of the youth wing of Zhagyru Zholy, addressed the meeting participants with a welcoming speech. During the meeting, representatives of the younger generation had the opportunity to ask their questions. The veterans not only shared their thoughts, but also called on today's youth to keep the peace, not to succumb to various provocations, to be ready to defend the Motherland.

The "Internationalist Warriors" who participated in the Afghan war sang wonderful songs with a lively voice. The event ended with the song "Victory Day" performed by the singer of the Philharmonic Society Aybar Khayirkhanov.
