A meeting was held with the participation of heads of non-governmental organizations engaged in the protection of the social rights of persons with disabilities

On January 10, 2023, a meeting was held at the Ten qogam social support Center with the participation of heads of non-governmental organizations working in the field of protecting the social rights of persons with disabilities. The meeting was attended by Akim of the West Kazakhstan region Nariman Toregaliev, Akim of the city of Uralsk Mirzhan Satkanov, as well as heads of departments and departments and chairmen of non-governmental organizations.
The head of the regional Department for the Coordination of Employment and Social programs Alpamys Kushkinbayev informed about the measures taken and upcoming tasks for the social protection of persons with disabilities in 2022.

Chairman of the Public Association "Voluntary Society of Disabled People" of the WKO Zhumazhan Kozhzhanov made a co-report and defined the work of the association.

The participants of the meeting discussed the current problems faced by people with disabilities on a daily basis and shared their thoughts on how to solve them.
