The West Kazakhstan region continues to receive services in the "pilot mode" through the social services Portal. So, as of October 1, 3 persons with disabilities receive a sign language service and 10-an individual assistant through the social services Portal. The acquisition of services of sanatorium-resort treatment was applied for 6 persons with disabilities.
Recall that since the beginning of October this year, 3 services have been implemented on the Portal in a pilot mode. In total, since October 1, 20 requests for the service of an individual assistant, a sign language specialist and Spa treatment were completed throughout Kazakhstan. At the moment, 1471 TSR have been issued through the Portal.
"I registered on the social services Portal as part of a pilot project to provide sign language services. Working on the social services portal is convenient and everything is clear. The entire process of promoting the service is monitored by both a specialist and a disabled person," said Tuenbekova Manara, a specialist who provides sign language services.
The social services portal was launched in January this year. The first main feature of the Portal (aleumet.egov.kz) - the ability to independently choose technical means of rehabilitation (TSR) and services, taking into account the profile, rating and reviews of other users. The second advantage is shorter deadlines. For comparison, previously, when ordering through public procurement, due to complex procedures, a person with a disability was sometimes forced to wait up to 6 months for TSR. Now the time from ordering on the Portal to delivery home is up to 15 days. Delivery services are paid for by the state.
Persons with disabilities themselves note the simplicity and convenience of using the social services Portal.
"With the launch of the Portal, it has become much easier and faster to get the goods, and we can now track them on the way. I want to note that now the order arrives faster than before. Now the delivery time is reduced to 2 weeks. This is very encouraging. And the employees of the employment Department explained everything very clearly, helped to apply for TSR on the portal" said Mikhanov Beibit, a disabled person of group I.
In the region, there are currently 35 suppliers in the register on the portal, 34 of them are for providing social services and 1 is for providing Spa treatment. Currently, 24 of the 55 types of TSR that do not require individual selection are provided through the Portal, and from January 2021, technical means that require individual selection will also become available.
All services and means of rehabilitation through the Portal are provided free of charge within the amount guaranteed by the state, which is determined by a special Commission on the average cost of goods and services that have proven themselves in terms of quality and customer reviews.
