Coordinating Council for improving the social protection of persons with disabilities

Today, on September 17, 2020, under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov, the Coordination Council on improving social protection of disabled people was held online.
The meeting was attended by deputies of the Mazhilis Of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy akims of regions, representatives of Central state and local Executive bodies, including the head of the Seitkali Department Bauyrzhan Bolat-uly, representatives of non-governmental organizations, public associations, and the Commissioner for children's rights.
At the end of the meeting, Yeraly Tugzhanov instructed the Central state and local Executive bodies to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of the National plan to ensure the rights and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities until 2025, as well as the development of a draft Law taking into account the public opinion.
