New mechanisms for housing construction in rural areas: 50% of the cost will be paid by the state

Within the framework of the State program "Nurly Zher", a draft of Rules for subsidizing the costs of employers for the construction of rental houses in rural settlements has been developed.

According to the Rules, the employer will be able to build housing at his own expense, 50% of which will be covered by the state after the house is put into operation.

Moreover, the house should have a total area of no more than 100 square meters, and the cost of 1 square meter should not exceed 100 thousand tenge.

Housing will be provided by employers for rent to their employees, with whom they have concluded employment contracts for at least 5 years.

After 5 years, an employer can sell housing to an employee at a price without taking into account the amount of the subsidy paid from the republican budget.

The new construction mechanism will increase the interest of Kazakhstanis in living in rural areas, as well as attract qualified specialists to rural areas.

In total, according to operational data, it is planned to start construction of about 2,855 homes in 76 districts of the country.
