Preparations for the flood period of 2025 are actively underway in the West Kazakhstan Region

Governor of the West Kazakhstan region Nariman Toregaliyev got acquainted with the preparations for the spring flood period of 2025.

The governor of the region inspected the flood-prone areas in Uralsk, monitored the current construction of dams and strengthening measures along the river.

In addition, Nariman Toregaliyev visited Syrym, Karatobe and Baiterek districts, where he observed and studied the implementation of measures to prepare for spring floods.

"We need to be fully prepared for the spring period. High-quality and timely implementation of flood prevention measures is very important. Akims of cities and districts, as well as relevant departments and institutions should complete this work within the established time frame," the governor of the region noted.

In the West Kazakhstan region, as part of the preparation for the spring flood period of 2025, the engineering work plan of the region was approved, within the framework of which 90 events are envisaged. At the moment, 87 events have been fully implemented.
