Housing construction

According to the instructions of the Head of State, 18.96 million square meters of housing were built in Kazakhstan in 2024, which is a record figure in housing construction for all the years of the country's independence. Thus, by the end of 2024, 172,089 dwellings were commissioned, of which 39,064 were individual residential buildings. In 2025, 19 million square meters of housing or 175 thousand dwellings will be built in the country, 111 million square meters of housing are planned to be built by 2029. The Ministry of Industry and Construction, together with local executive bodies, are actively implementing the instructions of the Head of State aimed at ensuring that every citizen of Kazakhstan can live in decent conditions.
