Special professional state allowance: 160 million tenge was paid from the republican budget for the month

In January, the PSC accepted more than 1,200 applications for the appointment of special professional state benefits. This tool for supporting workers in hazardous industries was first introduced in Kazakhstan in 2024. Over 160 million tenge has already been paid to applicants from the republican budget for the month.

Most of the Kazakhstanis applied for benefits in Karaganda, Kostanay, East Kazakhstan and Akmola regions.

More than 25 appeals have been received in the West Kazakhstan region.

A special professional state allowance in the amount of two subsistence minimums is part of a special social payment, which also consists of payments from insurance companies, payments from employers and payments from the UAPF due to mandatory professional pension contributions.

Benefits are assigned to people over the age of 55 and continue until retirement age. Necessary conditions – an employee in the UAPF must have accumulated mandatory professional pension contributions for at least 7 years, and he has already stopped working in harmful conditions – quit or transferred to light work.

An application for the appointment of a special professional state allowance can be submitted personally at the PSC. Kazakhstanis are also assigned a benefit in a proactive format – if a corresponding offer comes to the phone from number 1414, it must be answered with consent.
