An extended meeting of the district public council was held in the meeting hall of the Karatobe district maslikhat. At the meeting of the council, district akim Kadyrzhan Suyeugaliyev, chairman of the district maslikhat Nurlan Mendeshov, chairman of the district public council Ramazan Kydyrashev reported to the council about the work done in 2023.

Akim of the district, Kadyrzhan Suyeugaliyev, spoke about the work done during the year and the upcoming tasks in all areas of the district, starting with agriculture, the main focus of the district.
- A positive dynamic has been formed in the field of animal husbandry, the number of livestock is growing steadily, and the volume of produced products is increasing. Since the basis of the region's economy is animal husbandry, great attention is paid to this industry.
617 residents work in 464 agricultural structures registered in our district. Last year, the total volume of agricultural production in the district was 12,145.0 million tenge.
In order for the work of this field to be systematic and effective, state support is provided for all directions. Systematic work is being carried out on the development of breeding livestock, increasing the productivity of livestock farming and the quality of products. According to the current subsidy regulations, 435.8 million AZN are allocated to animal husbandry today. tenge and 162.1 mln. for investment subsidies for agricultural machinery and equipment. Tenge applications were submitted.
Livestock breeding is one of the measures aimed at increasing production volume and improving seed quality. There are 44 farms in the district dealing with breeding animals.
8,261 purebred cattle, 120 purebred horses in 3 farms, 2,327 purebred sheep in 9 farms are bred in this farm. 5,904 Kazakh white-bred cattle, 1,062 Aberdeen Angus, 592 Herefords, and 165 Simmental, 5 black-spotted cows, and 48 steppe red cows were purchased in these farms.
The development of the small business sector, along with opening new jobs and replenishing budget funds, is becoming the basis for further economic growth and employment of the population, improving the well-being of the population.
Currently, 973 small and medium business entities are working in the region and 1320 people are employed.
In 2023, 15 projects with a total cost of 218.7 million tenge were launched and 26 people were employed through private investment of entrepreneurs. Last year, grants were awarded to 21 people for the implementation of new business ideas.
In 2024, 43 people received 362.96 mln. according to the screening conducted by the rural districts in the district. It is planned that an offer will be made for tenge loans.
It was determined that 66,579 hectares of 45 farms in the district were not being used for their purpose in 2021-2023.
As a result of awareness-raising efforts by local executive bodies to the owners of these unused plots of land, 26 farms returned 43,549 hectares of land to the state, including 9,721 hectares returned in 2023. 7,828 ha of the returned land was put into circulation again. 16 farms registered livestock and began to develop 19,648 hectares of land. The scope of the work done last year was extensive, said Kadyrzhan Orynbasaruly, the head of the district.
