Bashkortostan is interested in entering the Kazakh markets through the West Kazakhstan Region
Today, on September 29, in Nur-Sultan, Akim of the West Kazakhstan region Gali Iskaliyev met with the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.
During the meeting, issues of developing interregional cooperation, strengthening industrial, business, cultural and educational ties were discussed.
Akim of the region noted that the West Kazakhstan region knows how successfully Bashkortostan is developing now, the republic's business is actively exporting, looking for new markets. The region is interested in cooperation and would like to see representatives of the business community of Bashkortostan on its territory.
- We are very close to you. From Uralsk to Ufa is only 673 km. You have a strong engineering industry, gas processing. Since there is a strong human resource potential in Uralsk, I think it would be easiest for you to open your own production facilities and enter the markets of the oil and gas sector of Kazakhstan in our regional center," the head of the region said.
It is worth noting that there are large deposits of gas and gas condensate in the West Kazakhstan region. The region accounts for 99 percent of the total gas condensate production in Kazakhstan. WKO is interested in cooperation with the gas processing enterprises of Bashkortostan.
- We are connected with you by the road infrastructure, the Ural River. It would also be interesting for us to look at how the collection of meltwater into the Sakmara River, which flows into the Ural River, is ensured," Gali Iskaliyev noted.
Akim of the region also said that personal subsidiary farms that produce good food are very organized in Bashkortostan. And this is an interesting experience for WKO.
- There is also a Bashkir diaspora in our region – about 400 people. They are all very active, and we support them," Gali Iskaliyev stressed.
During the meeting, "JSC NC "Qazexpocongress" presented a cross-border trade center "Eurasia", which has good prospects for Bashkortostan.
Logistics terminals for cargo exchange between China (Asia) and Russia (Europe) will be located there.
Radiy Khabirov noted that together with the official delegation of the republic, a business mission arrived in Kazakhstan, which included representatives of 33 large enterprises of Bashkortostan.
- Yesterday we met with the President of Kazakhstan, the Prime Minister and the Chairman of the upper house of Parliament. We held a presentation of the investment potential of our republic–" Radiy Khabirov said. - Today we will open a representative office of our Congress Bureau, which will organize the interaction of entrepreneurs of Bashkortostan and Kazakhstan.
In addition, the Head of Bashkortostan expressed great interest in entering the markets of Kazakhstan through the West Kazakhstan Region. Radiy Khabirov invited the WKO business delegation to visit Ufa in October during the Days of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Radiy Khabirov and Gali Iskaliyev agreed to develop interregional ties within the framework of the permanent working group on cooperation between Kazakhstan and Bashkortostan.
