Selection for the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve is underway

In accordance with the instruction of the Head of State this year is the selection of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve, the results of which will be selected 50 reservists for the public sector.
    According to the requirements set by Presidential Decree dated May 18, 2021 № 580, the selection may involve citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan aged 35 years and older, with higher education and work experience of at least 5 years, as well as knowledge of the state language at the average level. The term of stay in the reserve will be 3 years.

    Appointment of a reservist for a vacant public office will be carried out out without competition, taking into account a set of competencies and upon the recommendation of the National Commission for the Youth Personnel Reserve. At the same time, enrollment in the Reserve does not guarantee an appointment to a public position.
    To enroll in the Reserve, candidates must go through several successive steps, including:
1️ an assessment of ability to handle complex numerical and textual information;
2️ solving situational problems;
3️ assessment of competencies;
4️ an interview with the Expert Committee;
5️ meeting of the National Commission for Youth Personnel Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
    Most stages will be held online.
    In contrast to the previous selection, the recruitment process is aimed not only at identifying the required knowledge, skills and abilities, but also to assess the real motives of candidates and their values. The goal is to identify and attract young, public-interest-driven talent to public service.
    The application process is scheduled to begin on September 1 of this year.
