In the city of Uralsk, there are 6 carriers that serve 29 urban, 10 suburban and 6 suburban routes. Every day, on a regular basis, more than 300 public transport units come to the line to serve the residents of our city. To date, the share of the worn-out bus fleet is 54%. To update the city's bus fleet this year, the carriers planned to purchase more than 100 new buses of domestic production.

- Over the past 5-6 years, the price of travel in shuttle buses is 80 tenge, which will not change in the future. For these purposes, we have increased the amount of subsidies from the local budget. If last year it was 550 million tenge, this year the amount was increased to 1.2 billion tenge. The West Kazakhstan bus fleet purchased large class buses in the amount of 30 units for route No. 22 through the JSC "Industrial Development Fund". To date, 20 units have arrived in the city, the remaining 10 are expected in the near future. Another 70 will be operational by the end of the year. They are co-branded, affordable, in addition, they have already installed electronic ticketing systems that will ensure transparency of the carriers 'income, and will serve as a basis for the payment of subsidies from the state to compensate for losses on socially significant routes," Iskaliyev said.

Each bus can accommodate up to 81 passengers. There is also a space for the disabled and a retractable trawl that can be activated by a button on the outside. In general, the interior is comfortable and spacious. According to representatives of the carrier company, the minibuses will be put into operation from June 17.
